Sized rows are so much quicker and they’re not patio packs that bobs got so they’re meant to be laid in rows
To be fair I’ve a lockup full of 100mm kingspan, I’ll visqueen it and Chuck them ontop before temp drops at night
Can still be laid random tho? Looks to have all the sizes in his assortment? But yes I do like rows, all the square cut sandblasted sandstone I lay now is laid in rows.

I've only ever done one patio. It was my first and it was also my last and it was my own
supposed to be starting on a site Monday subbying got 25 plots for internal drainage and block & beam floors then doing the paths and drives then fencing and turfing main problem I’m having I can’t find any good labourers got a 65 year old man working with me now who’s handy but plods so no good for price work
what does wind me up is folk who move to the countryside and then are too lazy to mow the lawn on a summer’s evening, so rip it up and put plastic down! Then moan when all the roads flood!

Nope ,I take the pills to cure it ,
I don’t like the stuff myself but I can only do what the customer asks I much prefer turfing but folk don’t like maintaining there gardens so it’s plastic all the way zero maintenance and looks the same 24/7
