If thats a 3.5t van but with elec is the real MAM over 3.5t?Had a test drive in this today..... expressed i have to say
160 - 190 mile range apparently, sales guy recons that's real world not book.
They have offered it to me for a days trail so we will see.

If it is then you need C1 C or have taken the elec vehicle 5 hour training course to drive it.

Loads are listed at bonkers money but I’ve not heard of any making it.
I love land rovers (because I’m obviously a weirdo), have a couple of defenders and a lightweight and am happy that they shouldn’t lose much money over time. The price people think they are worth is a different matter however!!!

....... but Solihull NEVER produced one that was worth that level of wedge, even when straight out the box .. they're hateful things to live with ... but we all do/did

The cheapest vehicle I've ever had to run is my current 300tdi disco. Cost me £1500 3 years ago and has been dragging diggers around ever since. Comfy, good heater, practical, basic to fix etc etc.have had loads over the years .... and wish I'd kept 'em all ATM
I bought a shogun 6 months ago as everyone goes on about Japanese reliability and I wanted something a bit tidier in appearance but Its let me down more times in 6 months than iv ever had from a landrover. And proper let me down as well (limp mode BS) not the kind you can keep it going for a few days untill you get the part.
And then when I came to sell it recently I lost an absolute packet on it and now gone back to the disco which might not have the power but is dependable and like slipping back into an old pair of slippers.

Never really understood why the defenders are so much money, they are truly horrible to drive or live with, fair enough they are good off road but that one is just mental and dreaming to get that sort of price. You could buy a new commercial 90 or 110 for that money

It's been a while but at some point I'll have to drag the sj out and sort master cylinder and get to a local offroad day and put cat amang pigeons. Not a popular vehicle when ur running rings round them, even worse when you show them 1 litre petrol still under bonnetAnd actually unless you know how to run the sticks on an old Def someone with a decent auto 4x4 will whip you ...seen it a few times....that's me fired from the green oval club

When I was on the pipelines we used to have them, up to the sills in wet mud and slurry very rare they got stuck. The people who did were of the slow and steady variety, whereas was always foot to floor and send it. Rangers weren't too bad and the Hilux was about the same as long as you manually locked the hubs but there was a swb maverick/shogun that was a bit s**tGood off road, that always makes me laugh. Most folk who think that have exploited about 2% of the offroad capability and think they are the cheese

The thing with defenders is you can buy every single part to built one. Meaning any amount of damage can theoretically be repaired. Not many vehicles out there you can do that with

Yes but this is half the problem with landrover. The saturation of cheap crap aftermarket parts does nothing for their reliability.
