Funny enough Friday would have loved to have had 1 for an hour we were talking about it whilst digging!

I do notice a difference in fuel when I’m using the grab under the tilty all day, but that is because I’m trying to get 51 litres per min though 1/4 inch fittings to the grab but with a bucket on it sips fuel

Yeah it’s nonsense!
I have to run my machine at higher rpm to get full flow to the tilty, thus more fuel - well spent £ on the fuel, which I have no issue with whatsoever! Just don’t go telling everyone your going to save £xxxxx on fuel every year as it’s marketing bullshit!

My thought on the tilty fuel situation. As others have said it ultimately saves time, it can mean you are not shuffling around as much when grading or contouring. But compared to my flail work. The flail drinks it!!!

More murmurings of price rises,

I just wanted to advise you of the price rise we're anticipating that will take effect on Sunday 28th August 23:59 (all fuel cards excluding Esso) or Friday 26th August 23:59 (Esso cards).

When your next weekly price becomes applicable the cost of fuel is likely to increase by more than 5p per litre - of course we can't predict with any certainty what will happen over the next few days but unfortunately prices on the current markets remain-high.

The markets are being driven higher by the comments from OPEC, which hint at cuts to their crude oil production rates. While our prices are not based on crude prices directly, these rising crude prices from mid-August have driven up the cost of refined products (i.e. diesel & petrol). You can see more info on the BBC news website (select their 'Market Data' page then click on the 'Brent Crude Oil Futures').

If it makes sense for your business to take advantage if the current prices, then please do so before the dates and times I've mentioned above.

You don’t buy the fuel tomorrow at todays crude price. The price for next week is more to do with the price from last week.
