Aiden - have you had a close up (under the panels) look at a Bobcat E27 by any chance? The factory supplied second proportional service (controlled perfectly from the factory joysticks) is tee’d into the boom offset (switches over from offset to 2nd service, which is fine). It delivers a very disappointing flow (which I use for rotate) - any clever thoughts as to how to plumb it differently but control it the same and get oil to hose out at a million litres a minute?…
Drill a hole in the pipe usually works

Good luck getting that tucked there on this machine, trust me, this is the way to do it ;)
not knocking it Aiden, just asking how it's controlled ..
looks to be a P and a T with 4 outlets, solenoid controlled ... 'tis very compact ...
when I feel up to wrestling my way into a box, I'll get some pix of what I was wittering about ... bigger manifold block than that though ;)
don't 'spose that is a cheap/inexpensive set up :unsure:

the off set is never going to have much of a flow rate, in the first place though MB, but should be fine for your rotate service surely ? ... rotate rarely needs much flow and is more often than not restricted right down with a throttle ...... or are you talking tilty rotate on a 4 pipe set up - then yes can well understand ... needs more flow than the tilt service

Exactly that - but want as much flow as possible through the head for anything on the extra service (which shares with the tilt) so have that plumbed into the higher flow service.
The rotate works, I’ve fitted a lower cc motor to speed it up but it’s still slow. Just a bit disappointing that bobcat supply that extra service through a Capri-Sun straw but hey-ho!

can see that being very frustrating ... can barely call that a second service, realistically ... only ever designed for intermittent service, not full time use.
bordering on 'fraudulent' really ... are the buttons simply on/off flow, or do they 'swap' stick control to give prop service?

They are proportional rocker switches built into the joysticks - really good to be honest, just the piddly little flow letting them down.

They are proportional rocker switches built into the joysticks - really good to be honest, just the piddly little flow letting them down.
You know what's daft? The E19 with the same setup delivers more flow!

I find the rotation speed about right on the E27 to be fair, but not tried a tilty under it, just the rotating grab.

Got that pile of concrete put through the crusher yesterday. Next time I’ll keep the pile in better order- took four of us to do it (one loading crusher, one in tractor, one on breaker sorting out oversize and rebar stuff and me on the multione keeping things tidy and bringing stuff to the guy on the breaker/scooping it up for the guy loading

Going to put it all through again today down to type 1. Will post more pics later.

as said yesterday Doob, a grab's rotator's oil flow requirement is very low and is often throttled down with a restricted adapter in a feed port on the rotator body .... tilty's needs are huge in comparison ... have to run a motor
