It doesn't look quite as bad as the headline. This appears to be aimed at getting a list of approved suppliers, then if tests are required they can bid for the numbers required at the time. Budgeted for up to £2 billion, not guarnteed spend (but means could also go over), but what is £2 billion of tax payers money these days?

Biggest problem is it's not really tax payers money anymore. It's borrowed money of another government

That's all right we only just finished paying the USA for the help we got in the second world war off them that's after they had emptied are gold reserves , lease of land etc,
But USA gave millions to Germany France etc with no payback
So as a country we are use to paying of debt.

Just imagine.... You buy a publicly listed shell company,apply for a contract'ie approach one of the test suppliers,avct etc,share price goes crazy,placings to city boys at mates rates,pump price up,either you get contract,or you don't,get friends n family to short sell shares all way back down....this time next year Rodney

Heart attack at 26, Prayed to Pfizer for a fix. Vaxxie, vaxxie, death is lurking, Doctor says, "that means it's working."........... Died of SADS at 27, All good vaxxies go to heaven. Obituary headline noted: " Anti-Vaxxer Dies of COVID.".......... His family is quite upset, But they're alive, at least on net. And, they say, "it's for the better," Without the vax "he would be deader.".........

Actual articles in the Telegraph and mail recently bemoaning the damage lockdowns did with regards excess deaths now.
Lots of history trying to be rewritten on Twitter, people deleting the posts that clamoured for more lockdowns and vaccine mandates.
Fortunately the internet never forgets.😉

I haven’t had any myself but have read of people researching ways to detox from several doses of mRNA jabs.
Interestingly a friend put a similar summary using gov ONS figures on Facebook and had it removed!🤣
Even the government “science” and official data is misinformation now it seems!
