I bought a 3/8set of bahco sockets with ratchet once for less than 50 quid.
Turns out it was from a point when they where using snapon sockets and ratchets with bahco stamped on them.
Would have been three times th price for the ratchet alobe with snapon on.

I have the same 3/8 and 1/4 drive sets under the bluepoint name they are good quality sets but not the same quality as proper branded snap on.

tbh snap on is expensive but you do get a better job imo, the lifetime warranty is good to. Very good infact. Not often needed but we have had a good few bits replaced in our time, very easy

Snap on ratchets are very very good btw. Also the rape van visits every few weeks. I dont have anything on tic but that benifit is good too. When i got my top and side i paid a grand every 2 months. Was ok

Warranty is very dependant on how well you get on with your dealer or how much you spend with them (you'll be fine ) there's a lot of "service parts" which are to pay for if. And beware long spanners and long handle ratchets are for extra reach not power.

Yeah a great lightweight Jack, won’t pickup my pickup on one side but fine for small cars or trailers. I have the bigger steel version (think it’s 3ton lift) and that’s a beast! Heavy to drag around anything that’s not smooth. Buy both if you see them in Costco ever, far cheaper than anywhere else selling them

The ratchet is one of those stupidly expensive dual 80 ones. It's a great set for bag o price but can't see it being worth snapon price.

Snapon seems to be more a fashion item now. The warranty may be very good but I don't break tools often enough to worry about a warranty and a snapon spanner gets lost exactly the same as a draper spanner

got any pix of them .... got a little 1.5t ali I've had donkey's and'll pick up it's limit no prob.s ... will have to look to see what it is, but probably 40yr old and see 'em come up on ebay occasionally ... usually for sod all

Bluepoint is snap ons entry brand and the bahco stuff is the same just in a different colour box.

I know that. But at some point they produced a different range of bahco that was the higher end stuff which is what I have. What I have is a dual 80 ratchet with an orange bahco handle fitted.
I have some of the bluepoint/bahco stuff and it's completely different

I've my big old 3t but fancied something lighter for when bottle jack to high etc..
Thought could be handy to chuck if for emergencies etc
Going in next week or so I'll see

I’ve got mainly Sealey, Kennedy, Britool, Halfords pro, that’s most of them, in a Kennedy bottom box and Sealey top box. There are a few odd Snap On bits, mostly sockets, and some Cat tools, but the only Snap On I bought specifically was a 1-1/2” square drive breaker bar and a 1-1/2” - 1” reducer for those slightly resistant bolts. Owning Snap On is like dating a supermodel, good to be seen with, but sooner or later somebody else is going to have it away with them.

Pretty much yea they are great, can't work with out them now. Run the swager and compressor.... pretty much what ever I need!
Can even weld with it, although not for long.... you might get a few runs on something to get you out of the s**t

I've had a few, think this one is 6kva, the one in the picture I think was 10000w ...... allegedly
Chinese and cheap... and do the job some last longer than others.

The current one is not Chinese (so I'm told) and is the smallest if had and it seems to be as good if not better than the bigger ones

Nice, so handy and less hassle than Genny .
I had a 600w one I acquired ...used it anger once with a grinder did the job ..just
The new battery "Genny's" are getting better all the time but you still need to charge em

I've had my eye on one of these... the small van doesn't have an invert yet as its a bit of hassle to fit the extra battery and leads etc.

The price seems quite high though

Yup not cheap...played with the festool one a bit ..about £2.5k but ruddy good. Runs proper core drill no sweat.
