Have done lots of septic tanks over time. mostly the recent ones have been sewage treatment units, failed septic tanks being replaced is another thing that has happened, seems to me a lot of people don’t bother desludging them leading to the soakaway becoming blocked, all the stories regarding being able to drink the outlet water from treatment plants I find hard to believe no one I know would willingly drink it I certainly would not.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
you gotta be kidding ..... why not a floating pick up on a pontoon with a shore based pump ?? ..... that long reach can not be a cheap power source/access tool FFS :oops::oops:

tidied up some of our ponds and a terrible bit of ground on one of our fields the last few days, wouldn’t of known any of it was there last week!

If septic tanks fail because of lack of emptying and maintenance (cleaning prefilter) then what chance has a treatment plant like tricel with such a small primary settlement tank 🤷
