I was looking at x5's and touraegs but I I get the impression they are just another range rover , reliability wise, but ugly as so I got the pretty one.
Perhaps not "AS" much to go wrong but still plenty can if my TD5 was anything to go by.The X5cs are good trucks, but for a good tow vehicle an old defender TD5 or tdci is best. Not as much to go wrong. Just get a tracker on it as their security is woeful.

used to build 'em as part of my business operationSlightly OT, but what are the rules you guys have to put up with? - can you build your own trailer?
Last time I needed a single purpose trailer, I applied for a VIN, built it, presented it for inspection and walked out with a set of plates.
Is that possible for you?

Perfect just pondering building a little trailer for carting timber on quad bike axles. Will badger you on DM Graused to build 'em as part of my business operation

That's the critter.
Yes, I had the wider tyres fitted when they made it, I think their standard now. That's the critter.
That TCFs?
The swivel hitch was an option as well.Yes, I had the wider tyres fitted when they made it, I think their standard now.
I find it handier than just a bolster trailer, because I can use it for other stuff.
that's a must have .... will keep you on your wheels and in the seatThe swivel hitch was an option as well.

I bought a 4.5ton tipping van that was 4 years old for that money (1st lockdown)You'd have to be off your head lol
I had my Sherpa (75cm) and E10 side by side in my Ifor GD1054BT the other day. It's also a perfect fit )as in, looks made to measure) for the E27. Not too wide a trailer, good on tight lanes. Would recommend if you can find one. We’ve got a TT2515, GD84 single axle with mesh sides, GD84 twin axle , and LM105 (now has hiab fitted) and used to run a LM126.
The E10 micro is best in the GD84 as easy and safe to load on the mesh ramp. Putting it in the tipper is squeaky bum time IMHO Less so on an LM trailer but still faffing with ramps. So much easier to just drop a tailgate and roll out.
Looking to buy a plant trailer wide enough to fit the micro AND a track barrow side by side, but not convinced myself yet. The newer Ifor Plant trailers have a slight beaver tail section in the bed to reduce loading angle.
We have a moffett FLT with Kooi forks so loading pallets into either of the GD84 Is easy.
at the risk of appearing a complete numpty ... what the hell are "Kooi" forks?????We have a moffett FLT with Kooi forks so loading pallets into either of the GD84 Is easy.
