The battery one isn't too bad as it uses disposable liners. When you are finished, take the filter out and clean it. Then turn it upside down and run some thinners through it. Finish off with some blue liquid they call 'pump armour'. Run this through and then switch to purge and run a touch more through. Back in the bag.

A bit of a faff but quicker and easier for this sort of work than a brush. I run a tiny nozzle (FFLP 108) so there is very little overspray. The spray pattern must be only four inches at 12" distance.

Was a fair wack at the time for a battery tool (£600 plus VAT I think) but worth it.

mine is a big hydraulic job ......
will empty a 20 ltr bucket of paint in 15 minutes, if you can move fast enough, but as said is a PITFA to clean ...
's a couple of gallons of thinners job to purge and get cleaned up ....
bloody great for painting large quantities of structural, but need plenty of trestles to spread it all about .. and room .. or canal boats
bloody dangerous thing though .. would blow paint through your hand if you were stupid enough to get it in the way .. and you'd then have to have it removed - bloody quick, 'fore it contaminates the rest of your system

site welding is a job that is almost impossible to find ppl to carry out, so you're on a winner there Doob and one likely to increase in demand ... I know of two guys round here .. both my age and unlikely to carry on much longer, with no one following on.

There are a few decent guys about in heavy plant field, expanding as well,seems to be plenty work on the recycling shredder maintenance, funnily enough used to work for one of the big four,site and field,along with AJ,Shafton n Humphreys,they used to make mega money off the open cast,only Miller's left going these days n more buckets now

Well that's 3 new builds done for my part in it.
2 down praa sands on the south coast and one at St Agnes in the north coast

Full Monty of a tank each and soak aways plus rain water soak aways and services on the 2 down south and took 3 weeks for both

And a major tidy up and landscape of the garden area on the site on the north coast that I finished yesterday

Little job this morning raising up a cattle race. Silent diesel generator from Warrior Welders puts out plenty of juice- first job for it. Running my R-Tech 250amo mig.

Then back to yard to cut and press bars. Rigged the Sherpa up rather than pump manually, she can only manage 15t but that’s plenty for 48x4 CHSView attachment 35583View attachment 35584View attachment 35585

I like that soakaway design . Is that just for the rainwater ?
How is it specced ? Is it by volume of water it can hold ?

I didn’t look close enough. I can see the treatment plant in the background. same question though how is it specced ? I like the look of it

Parker steel is who I use but always a battle to get a sensible price out of any of them.

Previous place I worked used parkers but they seem impossible to deal with for small quantities just checked there website and they want £160 for a 6m length of 30mm box if you don't have an account

I didn’t look close enough. I can see the treatment plant in the background. same question though how is it specced ? I like the look of it

Treatment tank is spec up for 6 person the ring soakaway is due to not enough room for a herring bone drainage field
Hole was 2m square and ment to have 900mm rings but none were in stock so 1200mm fitted and 2 x 1m rings used

And whilst I was looking I thought I would price up to see if it's worth making a toolbox for my pickup but I think it's going to workout cheaper to just buy a couple of those black plastic side lockers off lorry's
