do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
sounds a great idea ....The battery one isn't too bad as it uses disposable liners. When you are finished, take the filter out and clean it. Then turn it upside down and run some thinners through it. Finish off with some blue liquid they call 'pump armour'. Run this through and then switch to purge and run a touch more through. Back in the bag.
A bit of a faff but quicker and easier for this sort of work than a brush. I run a tiny nozzle (FFLP 108) so there is very little overspray. The spray pattern must be only four inches at 12" distance.
Was a fair wack at the time for a battery tool (£600 plus VAT I think) but worth it.
mine is a big hydraulic job ......
will empty a 20 ltr bucket of paint in 15 minutes, if you can move fast enough, but as said is a PITFA to clean ...
's a couple of gallons of thinners job to purge and get cleaned up ....
bloody great for painting large quantities of structural, but need plenty of trestles to spread it all about .. and room .. or canal boats
bloody dangerous thing though .. would blow paint through your hand if you were stupid enough to get it in the way .. and you'd then have to have it removed - bloody quick, 'fore it contaminates the rest of your system
