I've reached the conclusion it's the speaker volume button ... if I touch it / reset it, I have all sounds back ... seems to 'die' in my pocket ... must give it a good blow out with the air line

and that's why I posed the Q Mog ... yes 170ltr by my calculation, so a lot of oil and with your experience of a similar set up that's good to hear ... reassuring

170 litres!! What activity is going to heat that amount of oil and how long will it take to do so non stop
Put some alloy fins on the tank or use an inline finned type of passive cooler.
Adding additional electrical sensors, controls and wiring just adds unnecessary complexity which is the problem with so many items of heavy equipment nowadays.

Keep it simple, if it needs any additional cooling at all, a passive solution should be enough. Stick it in the radiator fan airflow if you really think you'll get enough heat. Oh and you can always paint some shiny tish on it

Hi Dave ... have you not seen the cooler that came with this package of bits?
It was plumbed into the system before so assumed it'd be a good idea to include it again .....

there's a fair VD pump on the arse end of this Deutz and is gonna be pushing some oil around

still researching how to plumb it for load sensing, if anyone wants to chip in

Yes ran all the boom functions plus 2 big pumps to squirt the juice and a couple of motors that ran two big fans that heated the juice up

That cooling fan looks identical to one I've got strapped on side of the little lorry for its auto box. So far I've never seen it come on. On later models they seem to have 2 smaller fans.

You need the proper valve bank to get load sensing like the pveu type or else you're gonna need a lot of shuttle valves to get load sensing to work

Next he will be putting a piece of cardboard Infront to stop it cooling to much

Have you already got the spool block?
I’ve had to do both standard valve with taking a 1/4” sensing line from each service back to the pump with a mess of shuttle valves and the proper load sensing valve block with single load sens line back to pump. Always been kawasaki pumps up the valves have been danfoss.

Danfoss PVG Modular valve block. Not cheap but pretty reliable.
