X-site Pro 2d

Hi everyone, hope your all keeping safe during these strange times.

I run a JCB JS130 with a kinshofer tiltrotator.
90% of my work is for farms and estates. Done my time on building site.

Question I have is now I thinking of investing in a 2d system to help me with simple levels.

Often I have to clear area for barns and building as well a just landscaped areas. Having to dig, bang in stake and run around with laser and pole on my own can be long winded and as I'm getting on in age with bad weather or drizzle its not much fun.
Been looking at a MOBA Xsite Pro 2d system and wondered if anyone has had any time with any 2d systems.

I know it not hard doing it the old fashioned way, but as I'm an old dog who already has seen the benefits of new technology can make life easier with the tiltrotator I am still game to learn new skills. Any advice is very welcome.. Keep Safe everyone..

The Idig system would have more advantages over the moba (yes I'm biased cos I sell it) where are you based? If your in Ireland I can arrange a demo for you, if your in the UK @Nasco are the guys to talk to

i have the idig and its really good, expensive but like all kit if it pays off a bit each job.

There is always the budget option of of dipper mounted laser receiver, or if you want to be really flash make a post to bolt onto ur bucket for the receiver.

I have the Idig system and I would recommend it. Pretty easy to use and fantastic back up from Nasco. Also has the advantage that it can be used on other machines if you ever need to hire one in.

Well as many on here know, I do have Idig and really rate the system. But to be fair, I havent tried or even seen the Xsite pro system so couldn't compare them. All I can say is a 2d grade system is a great investment and by the sound of the kind of work you do, you wont regret the investment. Idig earns me money on every job, saving excess muck away, speeds up grading, more accuracy, no labour needed - its a no brainier when you add it all up.
Give the guys at Nasco a call, they travel nationwide and are ever only a phone call away if you get stuck.
Also, have a look at the youtube videos I did on my Idig system and how I use it. Shamless plug I know but I made them to help people see the benefits of such a system.

I wont claim to know everything about the Xsite system, by all accounts a good system also I'm sure.

The Idig advantages are,
•easily transferred between machines.
•system can store 100 machines and 100 buckets each
•wireless sensors, 1.5 hours install time
•full 2D system ( be sure you are getting a 2D sensor with other makes
•grade to blade option
•can be used with sugars clamshell grabs etc
•for the price you get 2 machines setup

I'm sure Neil would be happy to arrange a demo for you... he is a seriously knowledgeable guy when it comes to Idig

Hi Shaun, sorry for the late response.
We've been supplying guidance systems for 20+ years, and since we took the iDig on 15 months ago it has really taken off in the UK.
There are a few advantages over competitive systems. The initial installation & calibration only takes around 90 mins, transferable between machines in 5 mins, system memory for 100 machines and 100 buckets per machine, no cables on the equipment to damage, blade 2 grade option.
The system is designed for operators to install and calibrate themselves, but we offer free install and encourage the customer to get involved with the process. This way if you decide to add another machine it only costs £300 for a set of sensor plates and you'll have the confidence to install and setup yourself if you wish.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, there are a few of our idig customer on this forum, and we've had some great feedback from all of them.
