I had an ebay supplier call me last week to say they didn't have stock of one item I'd ordered from them, out of seven ... did I still want the other six items -
"yes please"
.. had a refund for the item they were out of stock of, in less than an hour, into my PP a/c ... 14 days is utter bull sh1t TBH Dave

SGS are only half hour or so away from me. Current compressor I have in the garage is one of theirs and purchase was pretty straightforward. I imagine their kit is just imported/rebadged so maybe they’re having supply issues?

My dads still down the road from them, but I wasn’t going to waste his time sending him down to collect it and receive a ear full of bull. Orderd the Wolf one @V8Druid mentioned, but via eBay and got 10% discount on my account, best be good

Highly likely they are having major importing issues and it's likely to get worse the shippers claim due to further chink lockdowns...

Just on the compressor front, If you have one in a van and run it via an invertor like I do, be sure to switch it off when you leave site I forgot to switch mine off yesterday an it restarted when i was sitting in traffic ........ scared the s**t out of me

Must be one hell of an inverter!

Yep it is, not sure what Watts this one is but it runs the compressor the swager grinders etc.
I have had big invertors in the van for about 12 years... can't be without them now

Well the Wolf arrived today within 2 days of ordering, but some bugger has knocked it around on the way!
messaged the dealer and replied within minutes to confirm sending out a new guarding , happy with that

this came up on Aldi's page yesterday and thought they'd ****ed up on the price ... 'til I started to look about ... cheap enough for the odd tyre at 90 quid

save running up anything bigger .... not sure about their claimed 2.5 hp and 9.3 cfm though
