I know nothing about machines, humour me!
Hey guys, new here and just started a new job working with a company that sells heavy machinery; material handling machines and the likes.

Who here has an interest?
Up for learning all I can as I don't really know the industry

Welcome

what industry did you come from
I graduated as a product design engineer (kind of like mechanical engineering but for consumer products) and ended up working at a startup doing safety jewellery. Did a lot of marketing and that's a lot of my role now. Definitely a bit of a weird career so far haha, but I've worked in cars a lot since I was young (family trade) so machines seems like a nice fit. What do you work in Regy? Any crazy big pieces of kit on the go?

Cheers, what manufacturers do you sell?

Basic concept for the jewellery was a necklace/bracelet where you can discretely contact someone to help get you out of an uncomfortable situation. Ended up being a lot more suitable for people with high anxiety or those that experience seizures.
