Yeah, I find with my digger it’s best not to move the dipper much on account of wear. So I put the boom down and track back to fill the bucketI had a 788 case duck with an offset boom .
You do notice the extra weight but you also get used to it . I didn’t move mine much on account of wear . I would offset it where I wanted it for digging and then leave it in that position while working til I needed to change it again for digging position . 4K hours no wear at all I could notice .
