think their reputation precedes them and possibly don't feel the need for it ??
with you on the Kins tilty and unless you're planning on doing masses of side digging, the breakout/side thrust'd be adequate for most things ... forks might not be as powerful either, but at that size m/c, not really a concern ... the narrow profile of 'em makes up for a lot of any shortfall.

There's an awful lot not covered beyond 1yr on a lot of longer term warranties when you get into the finer details anyhow tbh.

Case is one year warranty. Looked into the option of taking on an additional 2/3 years and wasn't worth it in my eyes for the costs involved

As @GazCro says, warranties sometimes don’t cover much after 1st year. When I priced kubota it was a 3 year warranty. 1 year everything was covered but no electrical components or track motors where covered in years 2 and 3.

Even the kubota rep told me don’t think of it as 3 yrs it’s basically 1yr unless it splits in half!

Well yes and no ..... the lack of decent second stock and their prices have sent me down another path, I am on changing my wagon to something that will carry my present 8t machine and sticking with that for this year ... not sure yet whether i will decide to stay 8t or drop down to 6t - time will tell and see how I get on with new wagon.
When the time comes if its 6t catagory I will probably stay kubota, I presently have 3 kub's of various sizes and it's true that you develop brand loyalty, I have run them now for 5 years and I'm happy with them overall...... I looked at a new hi spec kubota 060-5 at the local dealers a few days and was impressed with it.... apparantly it's basically a 57-4 under the skin which is a well respected machine, couple of weeks ago pv dobson had a lovely Hi spec 57-4 in stock (for a day ) and I'd of had that if I was still looking.
But there are plenty of interesting machines in the 6t category, hitachi/wacker neuson/cat.
If I stay 8t then unless kubota update the 8t offering then I will look elsewhere, prob Takeuchi - wacker neuson or case.

As many say there prob isn't a bad machine out there from the major brands and all seem to have their strong points.

End of the year beginning of next, I plan to buy a machine in the 5-6t class - its going on a 12 -14t hook loader which will be maxed out at 6.5t so if a tilty is going on it I thought it wants to be in the 5.5t range and conventional tail swing or additional counterweight.

Hopefully if there is anything about It will be used low(ish) hours - ideally have dual prop rollers and hyd hitch to put a kinshofer tilty on.......
