Where can I find a dipstick for my Magiruz Deutz 3 cylinder?

Hopefully i've posted up in the right section
Some lowlife has lifted the side of my ancient, but much cherished and reliable diesel compressor and stolen the dipstick. I doubt they had a use for it and did it just out of pure nastiness.
Anyhow, now I have no idea whether it needs oil in or not, so would anyone know where to find a replacement?

Sorry I don't have any exact details for this engine, but if I get any favourable responses I can find out exactly what engine it has I think, all I know right now is it's an MD 3 cylinder.

TIA.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
alternatively .... find someone with an engine the same and get a measurement from full mark to the resting seat of the stick and create your own new stick ... some low life scroat pinched a stick out of the P2 on me Thwaites Alligator years ago and I measured another to get the reference heights

I think the chance of me finding one of these locally to look at is very remote, IIRC it was built in the 70s.
I've found a few online, but they're all in the US. The first thing I need to do is get the engine code then take it from there.
I was really wondering if there was a specialist in the UK who deals with these old machines.
