What's the best new 3.5t plant trailer?

Just got a new GX126, added full mesh side kit along side the ramp it does everything for me now and is spot on, my 3rd ifor trailer in 15yrs and quality is still up there! They have upgraded many little bits that in reality they didn’t really need to do, but it’s nice to see. Whoever says they are no good is talking s**t!

Good to hear they have sorted out the niggles. I use trailers hard, but my last two infors the galvanising was showing rust through, the lights were on the blink and the rivets on the sides were loose within a year. That was 7 or 8 years ago though.

not necessarily a bad thing .....much better at coping with higher speeds, but obviously outside the load area

Really stable trailer and yes outside load area and really well built bit heavy but will take serious abuse and use

just about manage a 5' 4" load width I'd guess ....

Do need to keep ifors washed regularly in wintertime to get salt of galvanising.i allways wash mine if out on salty roads and it keeps them good.my mate bought a new one and not washed in 2 years and after being used on salty roads it went pretty black in under a week and salt etched into galvanising.

Winter time is the worst time to buy a Galv trailer, best in spring after the salt, then gives enough time to oxidise before the salt in the winter.

ive got the indespension alumax for our 3 tonner and its great bit of kit, well made. Only trailer that can take a 3 ton load and be legal as far as I know.

Im prob going to buy an alumax to carry a kx71 - nothing else trailer wise will at 2.8t with q/h and bucket.

It is a bit much for my 7.5t hookloader too, wagon weighs 4200 all tooled up, thats without a bed on so it would have to be a really light bed.

Would be handy if a 3t dumper would squeeze on an alumax but I dont think so I have a tt126 and its tight getting the benford 3t on.

Just had a look alumax is 1.72m inside so 3T might just fit but lenght is a bit short at 3m

I had a look at the Alumax, they didn't recommend it for anything with wheels as the chime spacing where quite far apart! Rollers where a big no no!

Best not put a rammax on it then I've seen them destroy normal plant trailers
