Always enjoyed working with archaeologist, quite interesting when you you get into and start to see the layout of villages and the like.Archaeology job for university must of done something right as been asked to go back in July, but probably going to be canceled now View attachment 13125
200mm type 1, 20mm sand, 14mm gravel
I know other contractors who have laid on top of type 1 but then your sub base has to be bang on as the sand once it has been screeded removes any imperfections in the sub base

Haha, yeh that’s true remember one lad i was working with, turned up with the 3c and went across to see where he wanted me to go... he was one of the nastiest looking f@uckers i’d ever seen, about 6’8/9 tall, built like a s**t house, combat boots up to his knees, piercings everywhere, his head was all shaved apart from a strip in the middle that went down his back and he had what looked like to warthogs in amour tattooed on the side of his head....but when I spoke to him he spoke in the purist of Queens English!! Could of quite easily come form the higher end of society.I do enjoy it, but they can be a strange old bunch.
