Saying that, a little bucket on a bigger machine isn’t the end of the world (if you aren’t in a rush).

I did really like the yanmar . It’s a really well thought out machine . The only thing in the end was the offset ram being on the other side . I don’t know how much of a disadvantage (or advantage ) this would be .Here you go Vin. Sell me your Kubota cheapish and buy this ready to go package instead

That would be a tidy package to get with that few hours on it . That’s a little over a months work .
I wonder why it’s being moved on so soon ? It does make you wonder was there something the owner didn’t like about it .

Yeah I wondered why it was being sold too, fair setup to sell at such few hours so doubt there's much of a bargain to be had
I did think about it but the nature of my work is such that I'd probably only use the Engcon element of it for about 2 months a year and then would want it off the rest. Things are changing here quite a bit with direction of work- 4 years ago I'd have been alot more keen I think.

It’s always hard to judge what’s happening in the work place and if you’re heading in the right direction . I’ve always found though if I’ve committed on something I end up putting the extra effort in to make it work . Your point about how much you would be using it though is one that I’ve considered as well . I’ve thought about current customers and some would be happy to pay the extra uplift for what the tiltrotator brings but some definitely wouldn’t . I then wonder would I get more customers that would be happy to pay for it or would I be taking it off regularly to keep existing customers . I do know for sure though after having one on the duck you’d be loathed to take it off .Yeah I wondered why it was being sold too, fair setup to sell at such few hours so doubt there's much of a bargain to be had

I would have struggled to do the job we did this afternoon without ours parked between 2 tanks on crap grd building a bank up. Avant fed me whilst I picked up and built it up. Being able to go side on into a pile is so useful and not having to hardly move is awesome. Must save some wear on the tracks too

If all your work is price work then that makes it easier to cost in for sure . I suppose if you usually do daywork then it may end up that you move more to pricing jobs as you then cost it in to your work

Id have thought if your running multiple machines it'd pay to keep the hi spec/engcon setup for either price work or customers who are happy to pay for it and keep an older basic machine for those that don't or for jobs where the machine gets given some s**t

That about sums it up ! old volvo for the tight feckers! I'm not overly concerned about working the kubota all the time . When the time comes to thin out a bit it'll,defo be staying .
