Personal opinion is Kemmpi.... Need to buy another for Chris as he was using the thermal bark but the moisture has killed it.

Kemmpi has had the same abuse and is still strong.

I'll second the Kemmpi. Light, portable and well made. Lays excellent beads, best welder I've ever used, it makes even my attempts look passable.

One of the GYS machines was suggested to me a while ago when I was inquiring about a Tig, but didn’t pull the trigger at the time. Comments like yours confirms what my gut felt....
Looking at a Tig again now, GYS will be off the list....

What are thoughts on GYS welders, this one seems reasonable value?

Agreed no idea where mine is made but feels "proper". They know a thing or two about it as well..yellow devils do a decent range of accessories as well.
