I need a new trolley jack but would like to try something other than the usual Clarke or Halfords stuff. What's a good make?
Theism to do up to 3ton then 10ton , they even sell 6ton axle stands with a 3 ton trolley . Does no one do a decent 5ton trolley jack?Sgs engineering have been mentioned to me, however I haven’t used one as have a low entry bluepoint/snap on one that does what I need.

proper jacks Angus
Yeah I've a Hydraforce, it does the job for me pressing pins and bushes. The manual hand pump is a little undersized so takes ages to move the ram under full load, but realistically I should have bought the air powered version instead of being so tight. One the topic of jacks etc, i have been actively looking for an enerpac and 50 - 100 t jack. Can’t find anything without paying over £1k
What’s folk think of these
For building one of these
Apologies for hi jacking
