Been looking for a 68 Charger for three years now the odd one comes up but I am being very choosey it's got to be Black would like the big block 440 ish engine and would like a manual box if possible but they are few and far between, There are a few around but they are making serious money, I have found a few 383 engine cars with 3 speed auto boxes but it would be a second best alternative then. I did bid on a Resto modded one a while back but in a way it had too much modern stuff added on to it which takes away the rawness of having a muscle car, I Should go to the states and have a good search as some of the restored cars available look nice but the way some cars get restored out there leaves a little to be desired.
There is a 1970 black charger with the big block engine for sale on Facebook. Wrong year but otherwise what you are looking for possibly?

Anyone run or use a 3.5t Fuso Canter tipper?
If so what's your thoughts on them?

A mate of mine is a mechanic for local arb firm. They run 10 3.5t “3C13” and a 6.5t 6C18 4x4. Just asked him, and he says they have no real problems other than… 2nd gear syncro on gearbox and reverse light switch both done under warranty. Rated the exhaust brake for saving wear on brakes. Tried the Auto duotronic but didn’t rate it so all theirs are manuals.

When I was looking for Cabstar/grafter/fuse the recurring advice next to ‘Cabstars will rust’ was ‘fuso are an unreliable nightmare’

This seems to be borne out by the amount I saw for sale spares or repair. Personally I’d avoid.
Very hard (expensive) to get parts for apparently.

Something to do with Mitsubishi not having a UK presence and having to go through Mercedes.

That is the other option liked the sound of a bigger engine in the truck. How are you finding it?

I would recommend it,they do 3l option but gets pricey, these are reasonable in my opinion, basic, but I like that, uncomfortable seat but I don’t spend hours in it.Pulls 3.5 fine, not been stuck yet,ok on fuel.Good basic thing and feels built to last.
