Ross If you get some space in a container I would be interestead in bringing a 68 Dodge Charger over to ad to my current rides two of which I am putting up for sale, ARound here in Kent you see these new Land Rovers on semi detached driveways how much frigging dept are these people in, I realise most of them are on PCP so they will never own them outright at least my cars are bought and paid for!
Stunning

Iv just sold my charger hellcat redeye 2021. The guy wanted a 68 but realised it was never going to happen so opted for a different one 🤣

You found any cars ? I have a fantastic guy out there who can ship from anywhere he just makes stuff happen

Been looking for a 68 Charger for three years now the odd one comes up but I am being very choosey it's got to be Black would like the big block 440 ish engine and would like a manual box if possible but they are few and far between, There are a few around but they are making serious money, I have found a few 383 engine cars with 3 speed auto boxes but it would be a second best alternative then. I did bid on a Resto modded one a while back but in a way it had too much modern stuff added on to it which takes away the rawness of having a muscle car, I Should go to the states and have a good search as some of the restored cars available look nice but the way some cars get restored out there leaves a little to be desired.

People are probably driving past yours thinking the same thing.

You beat me to it! A lovely era of 911 even in non GT spec.

Anyone else think these new Defenders look a bit too show offy? Maybe I'm talking to the wrong crowd here with half of you having bought one. I kind of want to like them, but everyone I see on the roads seems to have gone for the murdered out drug dealer look and it really doesn't do it for me.

Anyone bought a Grenadier yet? I heard they have stopped production! Might be the last chance to get one...

I think if I ever make enough money at this game to have enough wedge to spend on a "because I want it" car, I would go for something classic like an early Range Rover. I think you could still pull up to a posh hotel in London in one of those early 3 doors and get as much attention as the rest of the crowd in their finance whips with a pop bang map.

I agree with you @Gunners , I’m not a fan of the bolt on bits on the new defender or any pickups for that matter - I’m all for OEM and leave it as intended!
Mines getting specced with off-road tyres from new and will be used as LR initially intended!! They shouldn’t really charge you extra to put off-road tyres on an off-road vehicle but that’s just the way the world is these days!

Ineos have paused production, a trim supplier has gone bust on them.

My unlimited cash buy would be a 100-series Land Cruiser with vertical rear door split, axle locks were standard on them from the factory, and the straight 6 4.2 non turbo. Either that or a DUKW the way the weather is at the moment.

Are the rims alloy or steel? The Aussies seemed to have a recurring problem with the alloy rims splitting off road.

Yeah too right. If I was going to splash the cash it would definitely not be from the land rover stable. Import a LC79 single cab pickup with the 4.2. that would do me very nicely! Double cab would be more practical for tool storage but they look a bit naff and load placement in the rear tray then looks wrong

Would imagine a new 110 V8 would be cheaper
Exactly. Drive past coniston LR on Sat...they've a basic 2016 double cab for 35k plus vat ..I mean seriously 😆😆
Folk laugh at new defs but what's car sells for more than it's new price nigh on 10 years later

I'm not a fan of the new defender, although they drive well just not what I like or would want to spend money on.

I like keeping my old stuff running. I still see the 61plate lux as nearly new, but it's 13 years old now 😬
