Bolt on Always find bolts sticking up a pain for getting stuff in and also for cleaning out with shovelLoving your work there, Stu. Sort of thing I’d do myself. But why don’t you spec the bucket with the wear strips on from new? And if you’re putting that extra edge on, why not have a bolt on edge?
I think if you are going to straighten the new bucket, then you’ll be best to cut the center support away from the bottom, put a good gap in it and the bottom might almost spring back to shape?
Aside from all that, you’ve paid your money, you’re not really happy with it, it should be right imo, I think you should be contacting them to get it rectified. But that’s just my opinion
It's the center support that 5mm more than the sides are creating a bow in cutting edge
We didn't buy direct it was through the dealer so am getting thoughts on it as old man is not worried about it just wants me to do our bits to it plus other new digging buckets came with strips on but are so thin will wait till it's worn to cut them off and change for better thickness
