Once again full marks to our resident crane anorak

If you saw how it was being used and what it was lifting you probably would not sleep at night. I saw day light under a rigger at one point but heard no buzzer or other audible warning.

Spotted this on a barge.
Two things got my attertion - the track drive and the "load sensing". Clearly the counterweight lifts if the boom load gets too high (presumably warning the driver or engaging an interlock)

Going to lift it off the track frame as it’s too wide to get out of the lane at the moment snipped the jib up a few years back

This maybe a bit tight splitting

The bolts are rusted into the inch plate at the bottom
