The original engine was a Bedford 466, straight 6 and 5 speed transmission. When we bought it, it came with a 4 cylinder that made under 120hp so in 09 it was replaced with a straight 6 FAP (Serbian based truck plant, Fabrika Automobila Priboj) turbo diesel running 260 hp and a 12 speed Hi-Lo transmission to make getting it up to speed easier while not leaving a curtain of smoke behind. The cab, which was made by Motor Panel, is original tho in need of some TLC. The crane was refurbished back in 09 when the demon 6 was installed (reason being you can't kill it even with fire) and as such has served us for over a decade, being somewhat of an attraction where ever it shows up due to the Chinese 6 configuration.
