My iveco tipper and trailer is like parking an intercity train. Mine I did order the longest chassis possible. Most iveco tippers are 3250wb and mine is 4100.

I will post how it goes warts an all . I’m not into buying anything new so this is a first for me . It’s full fat version with hydraulic hitch and 2 prop controlled services so a piped tilty is an option at some point .That's a fine looking machine. Will be interesting to hear how you get on with it!

My right hand man needs a 3.5t van to replace current sprinter so he can haul it as well . It will likely be the same iveco as yours or 3520 MWB iveco van

fair play to her .... bloody spaces are way to small .. always fussy about where I park the P38 .. may be old , but I've never collected a 'door ding' from some inconsiderate bast*rd

I've got a 3520 van. For some reason van wb are totally different from chassis cab wb. You'd think they would be the same.
My iveco tipper most of similar spec are 3750wb (tipper and tool pod) (straight tippers are 3250) but that puts the rear axle forward of the middle of the tipping body. Total no no for me. 4100 give a hell of alot better weight distribution and I get a slightly long body at 11ft1 rather than 10ft6 and still get the rear axle where it should be, so no stupid over hangs like on the 'norm' chassis. Yes I loose a little on manoeuvrability but iveco have always been great on steering lock over the sprinters and transits. So for me it's the best set up I could physically get.

Got home this afternoon and unloaded the machine.
It’s lashing down so not much doing but I managed to haul myself into the seat and had a quick go with leg hanging out the door .
It is definitely one of the smoothest machines I have driven and feels very well planted but I haven’t had a bucket full to swing about yet . The cab is really nice , spacious and feels like a much bigger machine . Visibility is very good .
It’s specd with a geith hydraulic hitch . The buckets supplied were a 30inch digging with teeth and a 36inch with no teeth for rehandling and a 48inch ditcher .
They were supplied for the dealer by MiM a fabricator with a depot in sterling . The buckets look good but when I tried the quick hitch I took of the ditching bucket and noticed that there is some paint from the quick hitch on the top off the bucket between the hangers .
I would of thought that there shouldn’t be any contact between the quick hitch mechanism and the top off bucket what do you think ?

Just noticed none of the buckets have id plate . I thought every attachment had to have them now ?

A bucket doesn't need one for CE as CE starts with one or more moving parts

Its a lot neater than some I've seen. I don't think there is a perfect answer on these smaller machines - Its all just really tight for the amount they rotate.
Missing grease nipple is a bit rubbish - even if you can pin end grease it, the grease will take the least path of resistance and come back out that open hole!

I wondered did they take it out for some reason when they piped the tilty . No drama to stick one in but pretty poor that they missed it .
I did wonder if it would be better to swap the pipes over that go into that little block on the back of the dipper .

Is that hole in the ram knuckle not a bolt hole for an optional ram guard?
Is there not a grease nipple on the inside of that knuckle?

No idea, not overly familiar with Kubotas.
A guard might be a good idea, depending on your work? But you’re going to be fairly careful with it anyway with the hose’s running on the outside of the tipping link!

I'd be buying a spare set - soon -- and maybe adding 2-3" on the dipper end .. aside from accidents those hose ends are taking some grief at the manifold

Had to go and take one off a kx027 to take for measuring last summer ...mates dad ripped it off and no tools with him
guess they are vulnerable but he would break anything
