gonna struggle to get his tree trunk legs on them pedals, with that seat sooo far forward  ... what I'd call a major **** up on JCB's part in not allowing for it in the trim design ... you'm sat in there for its entire life FFS :(
as for the tracks ... don't they read the build sheet????
Yeah that seat looked like a waste of time 😂

Its not hugely confidence inspiring tbh, upgrade seat that doesn't fit, led light on arm halogens on cab and wrong tracks. Let alone build sheet has it even been pdi'd?
And not that it should matter but that machine is going to someone who has a social media following so people are gonna know any faults you'd think they would try a little harder. I'm not saying I agree with it making any difference but somebody should realise how it's gonna look.

You all wonder why I haven't been on much - I don't even have to post on here and people are jumping on the bandwagon, slating my new JCB. Just trying to earn some money over here and I don't have the enthusiasm to explain the situation, defend or justify the criticisms. Life's hard enough as it is

I for one wasnt slating your new machine... .... just disappointed they didn't get the simple stuff right for you straight off, you are a bit of an ambassador for them.

As above I wasn't being brand or machine specific either it's just poor service.

I think an interpretation of the comments is...we all admire someone who's running a tidy looking outfit with new kit and had the gumpf to run a YouTube channel as well...but this is plantalk so it's often lost in translation 😁
Nice to hear from you 👍

Just watched the vid - looks a nice machine!
I’ve bought 2 machines brand new and the Takeuchi came on the wrong tracks and had chips in the paint, and the Bobcat came with paint peeling off, the wrong counterweight and a missing grease gun. Both were late (the Bobcat was months late, but that was partly Engcon’s fault). From the vid I don’t see any insurmountable issues tbh, just niggles to be sorted by the dealer.
@Gunners - how did you fit the seat in your old machine? Was it on a riser? If you lift this seat a bit could it mount further back without fouling the trim? Also, are you putting a new tilty on it or swapping your existing one over? Do you run S30 or S40?

ditto above .... I was merely expressing disappointment for you that as said, being such an ambassador for them, they really couldn't just get it right/spot on from the off ... sad state of affairs when they can't even get the options that you tick right and then to go on and miss them on the PDI .... I'd be bloody annoyed TBH

Don’t know why you’ve taking it personally, every machine going has had a knock at some point. nobody called you a big piece of farmer boy or worse for buying it, respect to whatever anyone buys if it suits their business model.

Looks a bit gimiky, but I'll be interested to hear what those of you who operate larger machines think.
now't gimmicky 'bout that ... bloody great att. ... every duck should come with one as std ... most scandies wouldn't be seen dead without theirs ... very VERY useful

Interesting because I've never seen one before. I know the Nordics use tilt rotators more than over here, but something as simple as 'blade buddy', I'd have thought wouldn't be too much of an investment, if you're already operating a midi size excavator.

something I've wanted to knock out for my duck for a long time but needs to be a substantial item for mine ... the scandy boys also often have an S type pick up fitted to them too so they can pick them up on the stick
