I remember one of these working in Wales on the big gas line from Milford haven to brecon ( I think it was) Walter's moved it around a few times. 120 od ton I think it weighted

IIRC that was a 4 ft line Aiden ... did a fair bit of crane work at the Brecon relay pumping station when it was being built and regular maintenance visits after ...... had a catch system for 'purging pigs' 4 ft diameter rubber balls, with a 'plug' of saline between them .... could hear 'em coming a couple of miles away

There’s lots of odd things people make that are road legal, skips,beds etc. For reasons unknown a friend of mine did one of those European road rallies with a shed built on the back of a Peugeot 405.

I think it is a building built on piles that they have subsequently decided to dig out an underground car park. Looking at how horrible the ground conditions are I can see why they built it on piles.
