if you want to claim the LPG option the petrol tank has to be removed completely along with the rest of the fuel system so it can only run LPG

If you look at the table druid put up the K band has an *... this is as high as pre 2006 cars are classed so tus the highest a 2001 to 2006 charge will be the k band. After 2006 they added more bands with higher rates.

This is why you can have a discover3 with £435 tax on a 2005 but the identical thing registered on a 2006 plate is £735.

It's really straightforward...or maybe I'm just a car tax nurd

Ps, I could go on about vans and how some are mega cheap on 2004 and 2005 plates but full rate on other years....but I won't

Yeah, I've the same with my little toyota iq. It's because April 25 they did away with band A. So essentially it's just band B onwards now.
