I think there would have have to be some rules around it like overtime hours cant be more than 50% of regular hours and can't be paid at more than twice your normal rate

and that is a main reason it'd never happen ... tax revenue would drop by 60% +++
36-40hr basic week - everything else would be overtime - only way it could be played

i belive john deere have rethought the decision ,and will be staying in the states,the rest of the vid on JD themselves was pretty scathing too

The threats would work in the US, due to the insatiable demand for homegrown John deere, JD would loose a massive portion of their sales. If we tried that here with say Landrover the amount they sell to the UK would be too paltry in the global context that they'd still be better off making them elsewhere even if they lost a huge amount of UK sales.

Doing a spot of 1998 reminiscing and came across this interview with Trump. I'm not especially a trump fan boy but do think he is not given a fair representation by the press these days. A really great interview where he is allowed to speak not mocked and goaded.
