Terex Ryhno, absolute beast of a machine. We still have one at the factory, although it is not in the best condition. feedback was generally really good, much better stability and manouevrability when compared to an articulated dumper. They only did it in 6ton
The only bad bit I heard was that they could throw the operator about abit on rough terrain, on an articulated dumper you see the front chassis drop into a hole and can slow down to take account for it on the rear chassis, on the Rhyno the front axle is rigid, so when the wheel dropped the operator felt it immediately.
As Rory says loads were converted for rail use, usually with a cherry picker fitted.
