Average user goes out with his pickup and 3t digger to earn a living like the guy with a little truck but cant get anything else on it either space or weight wise and cant do muck away or aggregates in ( I know you can with an ifor tipper, I ran one for years but its very limited and a proper faff) and what about bloody trailer tyres , I lost count of how many I put on mine, and a pickup with 3.5t behind it is boderline safe, I had a 90 defender and they prob handle 3.5t better than a pickup but if it was greasy and you needed to stop in a rush then they werent the best of things, and towing 3.5t regularly rags the buggery out of the tow vehicle.
Its not like im saying its the best way because I did it, it makes absolutely no difference to me if someone tows their digger with a milk float, from my experience truck v pickup is a no brainer regardless of hoops.
