Anyone seen pete waterman's model railway program ?
I have to admit in an alternate universe, where I have loads of spare time and the space to do one , I'd love to do a model railway.
it would be 1970s based with deltics and westerns and class 47s .

Saw the trailer and said ohh should watch that but then forgot about it.

Setup near us where old boys build scale models and can take kids for a ride it’s great.

I have several hundred feet of Scalextric track and loads of cars of all eras .. even got a rare bike and sidecar ... not seen the light of day in a long time ..... one day

Got some 00 Hornby stuff, got be steam, as it was when I was a lad although I do have a 1950s flying Scot’sman clock work model not sure of gauge.

Seen all three episodes so far and I would love another layout in my teens I had one in the loft at home then I worked on the railways so got to play with the real thing, Now I would love to build an outside layout and have all 1960's and 1970's southern electrics and class 33, 73, diesel and Electro diesels, I have been buying up odd models on Ebay and storing away for when I get some spare time (one day)! I sometimes watch this chaps videos on youtube (jules garden railway ) he runs proper rakes of coaches as they would have done in their day.

Got one in the loft, but making slow progress. Based around the 1960’s. One day I’ll get it finished.
