Evening all, taking delivery of a new mini excavator in a few weeks and need some recommendations for a tracker, I do have a JCB live link tracker of another machine but its a bit bulky, need something that can be hidden, also may be selling .600 and .450 Geith digging buckets converted to s60 with weld on cutting edge , do you guys think they will sell easily?

I use automatrics one, only one i could find that

A) doesn't need hard wiring into power so it gets blown up when they connect a XXXXX to it after pinching.
b) doesn't solely rely on a SIM card card to track as these are easily blocked.
c) you get a call from a human if its moved after you armed it.
d) they go hunt it down anywhere to bring it back.

Not the cheapest but personally wouldn't use anything else, certainly not the ebay sim card crap. Couple times i forgot to disarm it on site before using and they are on the phone within minutes asking if its been pinched.

Their videos on youtube are worth a watch as well, the guy could have his own TV show. He tracked a stolen range rover and digger down, and in the time it took the police to arrive, the thieves had turned up and shifted them. He always finds them though. However the question arises on wither you want your equipment returned in a bad state or rather have the insurance pay out (if its fair).

I fitted one of these in a new 3t breaker after they had 2 nicked in a year. Been on a year and still sending a signal.

Evening all, bit slow getting back to this, spoke to a company called Triton Track anybody had any thing to do with these? looking for a system which will send a text message if moved out of the permitted hours which this does like the Jcb Live link, there new system is not as good sending a signal out so they have to install them closer to the outside of the machine which then makes it easier to find, this was from one of the guys at Jcb who deals with the telematics etc telling me this.
