If this is directed at my isue, its the bottom rollers. And yes they want f.....ing.
I'm not on linked but feel free to fight my battle

How long to rack up those 345hrs? I’d say they have definitely failed way too soon my fear however is that they won’t honour them as a warranty if older than 12-18 months. I too would be looking elsewhere! I’m starting to wonder about the quality of their components having bragged to me the parts weren’t Chinese rubbish then the sprockets landed and they were stickered made in China! I wasn’t happy for sure but customer couldn’t wait so they had to go on.

It's been 4 years, and yes way out of warranty. But 350 hrs is a piss take. Been kept in side most of that 4 years. I've ordered 2 more off them. 😣
I'm just worried the other 4 will let go.
I hope our resident bulldog with shame them on linked😂

I've tagged MST, Astrak, Evans and Reid and Digbits all together..... I'm hoping they start pointing that it's unexceptionable and them I will drop the cloak o mystery 🤣

To be fair, I can understand the point that 4 years is a while and sitting new components will seize up, particularly if they are tight tolerance manufactured..... BUT.

Pay your money for decent kit, it deserves decent backup.... Just my opinion.

Amen, sick and tired of poor customer service and support. Seems last 2 years has been an excuse for some companies to bin off any level of basic customer service.

It’s what I do!
On some larger machines, yes they have hydraulic adjustment, but also that pressure is also adjustable! With smaller machines there is a measurement in the ops book, different manufacturers take the measurement from a different place, but it does the same job, this measurement is as a factory setting, new tracks, sprockets, idlers, and rollers. What is the machine model and age?

I spent nearly 1k with them. I know its small change compared to a new under carriage on a d8. I thought i did everything i should to minimise this grief. I replaced all bottom rollers, new sprockets and tracks.

The measurement needs to be maintained, regardless of wear.

It’s what I do!
Yes the measurement needs to be maintained as often as possible, but I find that slightly looser than the book measurement is ok too.

It’s hard to set brand new tracks exactly until they’ve been tracked a bit, especially the really Heavy ones on 7 tonnes and up. Definitely need a settling in period before they’ll stay where you set them.
