track motor breaks

my tracks creep a little bit on slopes before stopplng ,has anyone ever changed the breaks on one is it easy or hard?thanks

I`ve been into the brakes on my hitachi, but not for a brake problem, but the seal had gone on the brake hold off cylinder, filling the hub with hydraulic oil.
Not too difficult a job, but I had to make a special socket, (a bit like a extra large car locking wheel nut socket).
Be Aware, there will be a strong spring, of some description likely to be either a diaphragm spring or coil spring, and under pressure holding the brake on with no hydraulic pressure, and needing the correct procedure when working on them, too save looking for it next doors yard, or broken teeth before you go the dentist.

hmmm that might explain where my hydraulic oil is going

Check the level bung on the reduction gear cover, see if its over full.
When mine went, it blew the seals on the reduction gears, and sprayed oil out, from behind the sprocket.
