What about the previous generations of Rab 4. They will tow 2t and are decent motors especially for family. The boots are huge. With the seats folded down they will fit 2 bulk bags of hedge cuttings.
Good shout. Should do around 40mpg without trailer attached.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
Yes Gra, that’s the trailer. It’s on the 10” rims. The Kubota balances perfectly, when I get three or four loose bucket/ripper it’s a bit nosey, but the tow ball doesn’t sit far back from the axle so no problem. Jimnys are light on the arse so a bit of nose weight helps. Reversing is a doddle, it’s perfect for getting into some of the new build estates I have to access at times. It’d be ideal for pulling a couple of bikes around.

the Terios is a good shout, four doors and the same width as the Jimny. Probably better on fuel.
amazed - 10" tyres don't usually like weight for any distance/speed

Used to have a 7' x 4' flat i made for carrying my and mate's bikes to events ... was a little bas**rd to reverse ... and I'll reverse most things

Our little hd84 is rated to 1.4t and tows very nicely , albeit a wee bit short on the draw bar. I do fancy a little 6x4 plant for the E10 when I don’t want the dumper as well.

That is on the list.
my £2000 short list is, terios, rav4 or bmw x3.
Im only really considering the x3 because it can be had with 200 or 265hp.
