Tool removal on hydraulic breaker.

Hi. Just wondering if anyone has a cat breaker like this. It is for a 5 - 8 ton size machine. I want to remove the chisel and get a cup made for it as I have some fencing to do on some banky ground that you can't get a tractor to. Seems to be a neoprene cap on the one side. Just can't quite see how it is supposed to come apart. Thanks, Dave.

I have the same breaker, tbh it’s been a while since I changed the pin, but I’m sure you drive out the roll pin out that holds the plastic cap?

Ok thanks. I did have a try earlier but couldn't get it to budge. I will have another try tomorrow with a bigger hammer.

You need a punch/drift that fits the roll pin size well and it should come out.

Yes I think it is an h70 from doing a bit of research on Google. Good bit of kit.

You need a punch/drift that fits the roll pin size well and it should come out.

Thanks for the advice. Came apart in 5 minutes this morning. Roll pin out and then knock locking pin through from the other side.

Weve 2 cups on ours. A 4" one for fence posts and a 10" one for strainers. I wouldn't go normal fencing with them. difficult to keep straight. However for banks or in ponds or weve built bridges in sand dunes they are a game changer!!!

Yes they look handy. Was thinking of getting an 8 inch one as hoping it should do normal stock fencing and I also have some post and rail to do with 5 x 3's.

You've to have somebody standing at 90 degrees to u cause u can never judge the straightness forward and back if u know what I mean

just be sure t'ain't 'er indoors ..... had that issue a week or two ago ...... should've gotten out and looked me sen !!
