TBF as an apprentice spanner monkey you'd not have anything else..faithfully spent my first paypacket on secondhand snapon bottom box. Still got it now best 250 quid I've spent

Exactly, buy a snap on box over a wife and you’ll save yourself a fortune forever! And when you’re done with it you can sell it on, where as the wife wants half of everything. no brainer really.I got both

I use Dewalt Tough System, and the Milwaukee Packout.
For leaving in the van or carrying individual boxes about - Dewalt is better.
For wheeling about .. the Packout seems superior
I would say any thing else is just an imitation and a compromise. Sticking with one of the two main brands will give you much more choice in the future. Often you get boxes with tools so if you use Milwaukee then buy Redbox if you use DeWalt then buy yellow boxes.
Although if you’re trying to avoid it getting stolen, then these boxes probably will help with that.
A couple of my lads like the tough built totes, and to be fair, they are really good. But these days, not much cheaper than choosing velocity.

I looked into them a while ago, it seems the company aren’t doing too great so adding on to it in the future might be a problem if they go bust.
