's a lovely trailer Frank ....... but tell the man what it cost![]()
can I clean out your trouser pockets, next time it's laundry day please FrankIt's just a little pocket fluff
$ 15937 USD
and the recipe is Aiden? We also have a very simple way of working a single acting tipping circuit of the blade or leg circuit![]()

Are you just dumping the oil into the case drain line Aiden?
6 X 2 Diverter valve in the blade - 'up / down' line - in the chassis, to tank/case drain ... on up it feeds the tip ram to extend .. on down it feeds the flow to the tank via the diverter and allows the oil to flow from the tip ram to tank as well ... the pressurised flow probably contributes a syphon effect to the returning oil too as the T line is the route of least resistanceWe also have a very simple way of working a single acting tipping circuit of the blade or leg circuit![]()

I would be interested to know as wellAre you just dumping the oil into the case drain line Aiden?
if you have one spare wire in your central commutator/slip rings .... can all be done down stairs with a 6 x 2 solenoid diverter at the flick of a switchI would be interested to know as well
One way I`ve thought of was a manual 3 way diverter on the up side of the blade pipes to the tipper pipe, mounted on the lower structure, and on the upper structure an other 3 way diverter valve in the opposite blade feed pipe diverting back to the tank.
With both valves diverted, work the blade control up, tipper goes up, and with the blade control down rather than lower the blade, oil from the valve dumped to the tank, and the tipper comes down exhausting it oil through the blade valve in the block.
I haven't tried it but it works in my mind![]()
My only problem wit that is that the case drain goes from the bottom half to the slew motor before it goes to the tank and I wouldn't want to blow the slew motor seals6 X 2 Diverter valve in the blade - 'up / down' line - in the chassis, to tank/case drain ... on up it feeds the tip ram to extend .. on down it feeds the flow to the tank via the diverter and allows the oil to flow from the tip ram to tank as well ... the pressurised flow probably contributes a syphon effect to the returning oil too as the T line is the route of least resistance
That's along the line I was thinking with the 1/4 bore case drain making back pressure. My only problem wit that is that the case drain goes from the bottom half to the slew motor before it goes to the tank and I wouldn't want to blow the slew motor seals![]()
I follow your reasoning and makes sense ..... could still do it electrically with two 3 x 1 diverters in tandem from same switch ... if you can feed the lower one with leccy through your slip ringsI think where on the same line @V8Druid
I thought of doing the return on the upper structure, as the case drain is only a 1/4" pipe
I know it would be a pain having to turn the two valves rather than one.
that's a PITFA ... mine are separate linesMy only problem wit that is that the case drain goes from the bottom half to the slew motor before it goes to the tank and I wouldn't want to blow the slew motor seals![]()
I don't recall seeing any electrical feeds through the central coupling and I`ve just had a look to double check in my parts manual, and I don't appear to have any.I follow your reasoning and makes sense ..... could still do it electrically with two 3 x 1 diverters in tandem from same switch ... if you can feed the lower one with leccy through your slip rings

bummer .... no choice to go other than manual then ...... what machine is it?I don't recall seeing any electrical feeds through the central coupling and I`ve just had a look to double check in my parts manual, and I don't appear to have any.
I think you should get me price on one of those mate! Looks bloody brilliant to pull with a huddigYou want one like thisif you want more info let me know
