You cursing or the mrs rod brakes take the bends out where you can, stop stretching when braking

and wind the adjusters in on the drums .. with the wheel in the air as you do each one ..... to check it'll still go round

did you take a look at that bolt I highlighted ... looks like it ought to be attached too ?

Yes it looks like it may have been a bracket for bolting on a cover at some point but it's corroded away.

Thanks for the tip on fixing the brakes....another job for the " to do " list
