Can anyone advise if the center pivot can be repaired and reinforced on this dumper. The main steel has been worn down as well as the pin bush etc. How much of a pain is it to repair and what costs are involved?

:oops::cry::cry:o_O gonna need some good facilities to tackle that -- and a gas axe -- pin kit for that is NOT cheap
swivel or straight tip ... that'll take some parting, without destroying most of it, I'd guess :(

Thanks, it was bought at auction by a mate but now the repairs need done before it can be used. Auctions are not always the bargain they seem...

Not a monster job if you have gas bottles, a good welder (I’d do it with stick, 7018’s) and another machine to help with parting the two halves. I‘ve done a Wacker Neuson dumper. Basically the boss that the bearing sits in needs to be bottled out and a new one welded in before fitting a new bearing. You just need to be careful not to burn away the frame outside the boss.
