Throttle cable Takeuchi TB016

Hello, does anyone know how to change the throttle cable on a Takeuchi TB016?

It's just that the metal fixing//tension device seems too big to be able to pull through the many other cables that disappear down in the battery area, and I'd like to be sure before attaching a new cable to the old one and get them jammed.

The mole wrench was used to try to pull the inner cable from the outer sheath when the lever stopped working but even after a week of pouring down WD-40, etc. the cable was stuck fast so time for a new one.

have you tried working it back and fore in both directions ?? could be hard up against something?

Yes I've tried pulling it on both directions. The only Takeuchi technician I could get hold of in France could only give advice over the phone. He said it must be broken inside. In which case I'd be able to pull each half out either end. But no. So he said it's stuck. Doh, you don't say.

If you're talking about the inside cable..it's inside the outer sheath so I don't understand. I tried poking with the thickest wire I could squeeze between the inner wire cable and its sheath: it would only go down to the far end of the metal mechanism -- tried it on the new cable and it would only go down the same distance.
All the liquid and spray I poured down the inside never appeared down at the other end.
