Those little rubber joystick buttons ... where do you get them?

These are the 4 wire can bus type buttons, i dont have a viable UK source for these 4 wire buttons but i do have new joystick handles.

I could be persuaded to break a new joystick to sell as seperate spare parts if there is enough interest in the other switches to make it worth while.

Sorry about the watermarked pictures but i'm tried of scammers stealing my pics.

dare one ask what the cost of these are ?

Umm do you want the JCB retail price or my price? :ROFLMAO:

But since you asking, JCB who deny all knowlage of selling said 2 wire joystick buttons do infact have a part number for them but just choose to keep it to themselves, probably due to the crazy retail price they put on it of well over £100 each plus vat. i think it was something like £140ish plus vat from memory?

Mine are genuine rexroth switches so exact same as OEM and can be bought at £34 plus vat each.

Now there is nothing really special about this 2 wire switch so you can actually use any 2 wire push switch you choose that fits the hole and allows the handle to close fully. A common one people are using is one made by APEM BUT in order to fit this you have to put a thin layer of heat shink over the threads so it fits the hole in the joystick tightly, then you have to grind a small flat on the back of the switch to match the originals so the handles close up tightly. Otherwise they work fine. No point me supplying the APEM switch though as wil cost just as much so i stick to the correct one.

I'm not really here to sell anything, i joined because someone asked me. i dont take much finding so if anyone wants to know more use google search cause i dont want to upset the admins here having only just joined or send me a PM.

Hmmm. The joystick 2 wire button switches I obtained from my excellent aftermarket JCB supplier in Australia cost the equivalent of £17

Yes and they are apem switches as i mentioned earlier, i get the genuine rexroth switches that fit perfectly with out any hassle and come with the correct length of wire attached where as the last apem switchs i got was about 3" too short to reach the plug and didnt have the pin connectors on. Like i said though there is nothing special about the 2 wire switches there are loads that will fit and work. you can buy a switch off aliexpress for about £1 or so if people wanted too BUT for me i just want genuine OEM.

That may be so but it doesn't explain why the the Rexroth genuine switches are so expensive. It's a very simple switch installed on lots of joysticks, it's just price gouging for the prices I'm seeing quoted here unfortunately.
The right to repair seems to be made a lot lot expensive than it needs to be.
The actual rubber is all that fails and it can be removed from a similar switch and installed in the OEM switch which in my case is in a Haulotte Multijob.

We now offer a IP67 rated button and many customers are saying they are better than the original due to not having the rubber top that wear out and then let in dust and water.

We have the F/R switches coming in next week for sale too.

We have sold over 50 of each of the 2 and 4 wire switches already.
