once took my 45 tonner 8 leg Grove TMS475LP along a forestry type road across a peat bog ... no idea how thick the road way was but had a bow wave and a 'wake', in front and behind the machine that was almost touching the front bumper, which was about 10 ft in front of the front most axle ..... went to rescue a grader who'd pulled off the road to let a truck pass - big mistake

that would've been FC's problem :giggle: ...
they said the road'd take me  ......
and I weighed twice what the grader did
left her there for two days while they brought in 1000 ton of stone to build me a stand either side of the road for my outriggers ...
she was 20ft wide to jack centres, so wanted a 30+ ft wide pad to set up on ...
was still a hairy lift - 20t of grader, plus stiction, with me sat sitting on a floating sponge - set up level - then ignored the bullseyes - sort of job where experience counted - a lot ......
got the bugger out though ;):giggle:

well it stood 42 tonnes of Grove :giggle: for the 3 mile drive to get to where the grader was ... down side was I had to reverse all the way back out -- no where big enough for me to turn around.
Aiden @CPS might even know the location -- up by the gas tanks above Hirwaun on the moors

Kia's 7 year warranty has similar caveats ... all in the small print -- most bits're 3 years, body/paint work is about the only thing that gets the full 7 years provided they see it every year

Yeah I know. But imagine a new fuel injection pump or air compressor after 40,000 miles. That's not great

The main stream manufactures are not better, Fords 12 year anti perforation/corrosion warranty means nothing, chrome bumpers rusted through, sump guards crumbing, again not covered, sorry not covered, chassis not interested,
