It's not a market im in, but the price sounds quite high

@JD450A will know more
Maybe but think about this, from what i've found on the internet, a 6 yard skip (its about the same size) is £250 - £400 to rent per week, how many times they empty it out i don't know. So if you take the lower estimate into account, with all the costs and other bull***t, that skip can earn you at least £50 per week. 4 weeks per month, £200. 12 months in a year, £2400 and that is income per unit. So basically it pays it self off within a year and the rest is pure profit. Given that this thing can survive at minimum 3 years of abuse that means it can earn you at least 2 more during its lifespan (worst case scenario) which i think isn't that bad. Here they charge you from 50 to 70e per day of rent and at minimum 150e to take away the full one and bring another.

The trouble is a quick Google search shows that you can buy 10 yard skips for £1300 - this is the market you are trying to compete against. No doubt yours is much better made - I suspect a lot of customers just look at price though sadly.

Here you have to take into account the very high costs of disposal so it doesnt work out aswell as you would think.
They are very nice details on the skips. Far nicer than what we get but a couple of things to note. The bottom detailing that will allow the forklift to fit it will increase point loading on the ground once loaded, so will damage the ground.

Sadly 90% of people only look at the price tag and don't care how long it will last. This thing however looks so pathetic its not even funny.

skip build quality is horrendous here Marko ....... I occasionally looked at building them in my shop and couldn't make the figures stack up for a decent quality build ... don't know how they build and sell them for what they do TBH :rolleyes::unsure:

Thin metal all around, not fully welded up...basically junkers but cheap enough to pass. I sent out photos to a few French companies and got a couple of replies asking for price so maybe i'll get some orders from them. Either way if the market wants junk then junk it shall get and i'll keep the quality stuff for those who want to save money in the long run
