Matt at Diesel creek is always worth a watch nice fella with an impressive setup and a very relatable approach and that insatiable appetite for resurrecting dead stuff 🫣. We need him on here 😊next time

Next time someone asks me— what would you do if you won the lottery? I’ll just point them to this guy. He’s basically living my dream 😂

you'd have to move to the states though .... never get away with any of what Matt does in this country :(
it'd be a constant battle with LAs, planners. DVSA, plod, etc. .... to say mothing of actually keeping what you have, away from the bloody tea leaves and pikies

been watching him for a long time and youtube has made his life what it is now - has done really well from it, fair play

slight topic swerve but a proper wow moment,
Heard something today but struggled to believe it... so did my own research...genuinely staggering.

We've used 4.2bn tonnes of coal for power stations...since we started 140 odd years ago..

in 2023 China used...yes you've guessed it 4.5bn tonnes

"In 2022, China's coal consumption grew by 4.6 percent to a new all-time high of 4.5 billion metric tons–nearly 9 times higher than the United States, and it is expected to be higher yet this year.26 Oct 2023"

well done UK 🤣🤣🤣slow clap

It’s ok - it was saying in the radio this morning that we are investing £20 billion into carbon capture schemes…

There are actually people out there who have set up companies and are taking very significant sums of money off the government and large businesses to apparently pump carbon into old oil wells!.!. This is essentially The Emporer’s New Clothes for the modern woke age.
What an absolutely farcical waste of money!

I want to know exactly HTF they supposedly 'capture' this CO2 from the likes of cement works, etc. ??????? and then transport it to these locations - then store it before stuffing it down old oil wells ----- greenwash at its ultimate level of BS

What's the point when the middle east and eastern Europe are lobbing vast amounts of explosives at eachother.
Has anyone checked to see if Iran's ballistic missiles are euro 6 compliant.
To think there's actually supposedly educated people out there who are faithfully buying their Nissan leafs and recycling their tablet wrappers and eating kale burgers to save the planet and "doing their bit" Heaven help us.

most 'educated' ppl rarely have a modicum of common, let alone being able to think rationally for themselves :cry::cry: ... and a hell of a lot of the 'uneducated' fall into the same category --- sadly the majority of the world is populated by 'sheeples' :(

Tbh my opinion would probably be seen as twisted but here it is anyway.
The whole go green thing isn't about saving the planet. The planet always has and always will be absolutely fine. It's about saving the delicate balance that humans survive in and therefore saving the human species. Yet when I see the news it makes it ever more apparent that humans are horrible nasty evil f***ers intent on thinking up ever more sophisticated ways of killing manipulating or tormenting eachother. And therefore saving the human species is the last thing we should do. For the benefit of ourselves and every other species we share the planet with the best thing we can do is actually hurry up and make ourselves extinct.
