bit of a Frankenstein monster, but someone has put some effort into this ... worth a look at the pix -- it's local to me and is almost tempting enough to go have a look at - purely out of fascination - not to buy :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
can't see as the 125 box'll stick much of a pasting though

That’s my kind of thing both from the engineering perspective and that it’s MOT / tax exempt and runs on veg oil straight from the supermarket. That’s about as cheap as transport gets.

Come the day of the apocalypse that will be one of the few vehicles left on the road.

to get it reg as historic, it must first have a valid MOT presented, before it will be accepted as historic & exempt :(

"Shortage of skilled workers sends pay packets in green trades to over £130k a year, T&T report finds

A lack of so-called ‘green collar’ construction workers such as insulation specialists and heat pump installers mean those trades in London are earning more than £130,000 a year.

A new report from Turner & Townsend said workers with these skills were likely to be pocketing £70 an hour – the equivalent of £134,000 per year.

The figure is more than twice the amount general construction labourers pick up in the capital, which is currently around £28 per hour."

WTF are all these jobs then on £28/hr ... oh, I know - rigger banksman :giggle::ROFLMAO:

It’s always London prices, do they not realise there’s a whole country outside the M25!?

I hired largest cherry picker in UK about 10 years ago, lorry based f**k it was high

I find the bounce of boom lifts not nearly as worrying as the sway of scissor lifts. I've only done one job with scissor lifts and it was a month repairing the underside of a bridge. Not high at all really and not keen at all. Done loads with boom lifts on trees and steel framed barns and never worried about them
